Here's what you need to know about me: I'm a social butterfly! I love hanging out with anyone who wants to play. I also love to follow my person around to see what they're doing. I can be little mouthy during cuddle time, but if you have a toy to keep me occupied, I can settle in for a short afternoon nap. I'm an active dog! I have tons of energy and would love to go home with many family members around who can help keep me entertained and give me a variety of things to do. I need a slow introduction to cats. I can probably share my space with cats, but I'm still a puppy and can be a little much at first. We'll need some help monitoring our interactions at first to be sure we're all safe together. I need some space to myself, like a crate or a room where I can take breaks. I sometimes have a hard time sharing my treats, toys, or bed with other pets, and other times ignore their requests to take breaks form playing. It helps me to have a barrier to teach me when to settle down. I would love a family experienced with my breed or willing to learn! I have some behaviors and preferences that are typical for Australian Cattle Dogs and would do best with a family who understands my needs.
