About Sienna Artist

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Sienna Artist's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Move over Picasso! A new painter has arrived! Meet Sienna Artist, an 8-month-old Korean Jindo Dog / Carolina Dog / Akita mix, weighing 35 pounds (as of 4/4/26). This lovely beauty and her sister, Azure, were strays dumped at a rural library in Tennessee. But they kept themselves occupied by reading books on art history and painting techniques which have helped them grow as artists. In fact, they're planning a gallery tour in New England! You don't want to miss an opportunity to commission them 'cause these girls are going places! Sienna, like her name, is the embodiment of warm earth tones that will make anyone smile and feel at ease. When she's not painting colorful landscapes using her signature brush strokes, Sienna is the perfect mix of "play" and "stay." She's always down for an outdoor adventure or a walk in the fresh air, but is equally happy settling down for a long cuddle session near a fireplace with slow jazz playing in the background. What can she say? This girl is classy. With her soft fluff and soulful brown eyes, Sienna has an endless amount of love to give to those lucky enough to receive. If you're looking for a loyal artist who'll paint for you into every picture, Sienna is your girl! It may not be the most flattering picture of you, but you'll love it either way! The Artist sisters are great with other dogs and while they haven't had experience with cats or children yet, the girls hope to impress them by painting their portraits too. Everyone wants to be a muse after all! As an artist, they're so tied to their work which means they'll need help with house training and commands. They are working on leashes and are slowly learning that crates are okay. These girls can't wait to add a splash of color and creativity to your home! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
