She is a calm, steady presence with a soft, affectionate nature— the kind of dog who quietly settles into your routine and makes every day feel a little more peaceful. Daily Life and Routine Reverie starts her day around 7 a.m. after sleeping soundly through the night in her cozy bed in the kitchen. She enjoys breakfast followed by a walk, which is truly one of her favorite parts of the day. She walks nicely on leash, stays close by, and is always happy to head out for some fresh air. During the day, she has access to the backyard where she takes care of business or finds a sunny spot to relax and soak up the warmth. She has dinner around 7 p.m. and typically enjoys another evening walk around 9 p.m. Reverie is fully potty trained and has had no accidents— she understands her routine and sticks to it beautifully. Personality Reverie has a wonderfully calm and relaxed temperament. When she first arrived, she seemed a bit unsure and a little sad (missing her little ones), but with time and patience she blossomed into a dog who enjoys being close to her people. She is affectionate without being clingy—she may follow you from room to room just to keep you company, but she is also perfectly content relaxing on her own or staying home alone. She has a quiet, gentle presence and brings a sense of ease to the household. Social Skills Reverie has lived with another small foster dog and did well sharing her space. She may bark at other dogs while on walks, but it appears to be more of an announcement than anything else— she has not shown any signs of aggression. She walks politely on leash without pulling and is always happy to return home afterward. She has not yet been introduced to cats in her foster home. Reverie does well with children, though she has not had experience with very young kids just yet. Energy Level and Habits Reverie is not a high-energy dog and isn’t particularly interested in play or constant activity. Instead, she enjoys steady routines, peaceful walks, and comfortable lounging. She does not chew, dig, or bark excessively, and she has shown lovely household manners. She’s the type of dog who is happiest simply being near her people— whether that means resting on the sofa, supervising your workday, or quietly keeping watch while you cook in the kitchen (and thoughtfully assisting if any food happens to fall on the floor). The Perfect Match Reverie would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a mature, easygoing dog who fits seamlessly into daily life. She offers calm companionship, gentle affection, and reliable manners without demanding constant attention. After raising her puppies, she deserves a home where she can finally relax, enjoy her walks, and be cherished for the loving, steady dog she is.
