You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Puppies in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT SIGHT UNSEEN If you're ready to adopt without meeting the puppy first, we can help over the phone or by email. Puppies are adopted on a first come, first served basis, and we're not able to place holds on them. All puppy adoption fees include: -spay/neuter -kennel cough vaccination -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
