About Cooper Xi
This is Cooper! Cooper is a handsome grey 2.5-year-old, 48-pound male pit bull mix with giant ears and equal amounts of love and energy! He spent the first year of his life as part of an unhoused family, before being surrendered due to the owner's illness, and is unfortunately having to start another phase of his life due to limitations of the current family's dynamic. He is microchipped and completely up to date on all vaccines. A fenced outdoor space for Cooper is a must - he truly thrives when he has space to run and play. He loves walks and exploring, but is also happy to just be outside with his human, or alone; he loves bird watching, chasing bunnies, and just soaking up the sun. Cooper also enjoys snuggles in bed with his people and relaxing by his fireplace with his favorite toy. He is easy to please, but his fave toys are the soft, squeaky type, and long lasting treats like cow ears and peanut butter Kongs. Cooper is smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please. He has a strong foundation to build on. Cooper has worked with a professional dog trainer, is completely house-trained, non-destructive when left alone at home (not crate-trained), muzzle-trained, and knows several basic tricks. He's wonderful with people of all kinds, including kids, and has so much love to give. Cooper does best as the only dog in the home — he wants to be your one and only, and honestly, he'll make it very easy to spoil him. He has not been tested with other animals, including cats. If you're looking for an active, loving companion who can keep up with your adventures and wind down with you at night, Cooper just might be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Cooper today!
