She had a microchip but the information was not current so she had to spend 10 days in the shelter. By her appearance, it would seem she has been stray or lived in horrible conditions for some time. Despite her intake condition (check out her photos), she has been very sweet. Katie is a 2 year old Yorkie mix (possible poodle or some other small dog with curly hair). She weighs about 9.5-10 pounds. We scooped her up from the shelter and took her straight to the ver for a sedated shave down, vaccines and her spay. We did not want to waste any time. She has been living in filth too long! She is beginning to feel better since she has been cleaned up. She is eating and sleeping well. Her potty manners are great so far. She is a sweet little girl who deserves much better in life and we intend to find the perfect home for her. She has healed from her spay and is ready for adoption.
