About Meatball

Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio. Meatball is a special boy. He was dumped at local feeding site back in October 2025, but it was obvious from the beginning that he was not a feral. He instantly showed affection toward humans, and is very comfortable being indoors. Meatball requires a home that will allow him to be indoor/outdoor - he needs his space to run around, play, hunt, and burn off his energy, but when he’s tired, he comes back home to unwind. He does not stay outside overnight; he always sleeps indoors. After a hard day’s work of running around outside, Meatball likes to hangout and relax next to his human in his cardboard chair. He craves human attention/affection, and thoroughly enjoys watching bird videos on YouTube. In new and unfamiliar environments, Meatball can be tense and on alert. He tends to lash out when he is scared. He requires an experienced cat person that will be willing to work with him through this behavior. Currently, Meatball is staying in a home where there are other cats, but he is separated from them due to unpredictable triggers. He goes on walks (without a harness or leash) and likes to show off by climbing halfway up tress, then running back down. He also likes to run at full speed, then wait for his human to catch up. He even follows his foster parents to the car and will sit and wait for their return. He is very smart and deserves a chance to thrive in an optimal environment for him. Meatball does not appear to be afraid of dogs, but it is uncertain as he does not live in a home with them and has not interacted directly with them Please contact Kim at kimberlieh27@yahoo.com or text at 925/864-4747 Click here to watch a video of Meatball.
