About Jasper Holmlund
Hi, I’m Jasper and I’m a gorgeous long-haired black male kitten born 10/22/25. I’m ready to settle into my forever home and make myself comfy! All I want in life is to be spoiled and pampered for the rest of my days, so I hope you’re up to the task. I know I look magnificent and dignified, but I’m a simple cat at heart. All I need to be happy is a warm bed, good food, and constant cuddles! I can be a bit slow to warm up to new places and new people, but you’ll know I feel at home once you start to hear my raspy meows, loud purr, and cute little chirps. When I’m really comfortable, I melt into a giant puddle of fur and purrs. Like any kitten, I can be playful and get the zoomies, but I tend to take life at a leisurely pace. Any time can be naptime, and any nook or cranny can be my bed. If there’s no lap available, my favorite place to hang out is my special spot on the shelf by the desk. If you don’t have a spot for me near your desk, don’t worry! I’ll just move things around until there's enough room for me to sprawl out. Warm, lazy afternoons are my favorite thing in the world. Once evening hits and there’s no more sunshine to soak up, you’ll see my playful side come out. You might have noticed that I’m missing the tip of my left ear! That’s because I used to be a feral kitten. My sister Mica and I were trapped together for a “trap, neuter, release” program where they tip cats’ left ears before they release them. That’s when they decided we were too cute and friendly to release. Before we were rescued, it was just the two of us against the world! I’m about a month older than her, so we aren’t littermates, but the humans who left food out for us said I started taking care of her when she was about 2 months old. After we were rescued, I was pretty nervous about being around humans, but Mica helped me adjust to life as a housecat. Now I can’t imagine life any other way! My dream home would be on the quieter side most of the time. I’m great with adults and older children, but I might hide from a younger human if they’re too loud and unpredictable. I’ve never been around dogs before. I would love to go to a home with other cats for me to be friends with, especially if I’m adopted with Mica or my other foster sister Lady Gray. When I’m not hanging out with humans, you can usually find me wrestling or cuddling with one of them. All I really need is a few good friends of the human and feline variety!
