Mr. Raphael is a sweet boy, but he does take some time to warm up to people. As his previous life involved lots of pizza, sewers, and ne'er-do-wells, we certainly don't blame him. But once you gain that trust? He'll gladly lean into you and be a companion for life. His trust issues involve a dislike for loud noises and fast movements, so we recommend no small kids, but older kids who can respect his boundaries should be okay. For the same reason, we'd also recommend no dogs. He has acted neutral around other kitties, so we think he would do okay in a multi-cat household.
