I don’t need much to be happy just you. From the moment you wake up, my tail starts wagging because it means another day I get to be by your side. I follow you from room to room, not because I have to, but because I want to; you’re my favorite place to be. When you sit or lie down, I’m already there, curling up next to you, resting my head wherever I can feel your warmth. I could stay like that all day, just listening to your heartbeat and breathing in your scent, knowing I’m safe because I’m with you. You might think I’m just a dog, but to me, you’re everything and if I had my way, we’d never have to get up at all.
