About Huck
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Huck! Huck is about 9 weeks old and weighs about 7 lbs. Our best guess on breed mix is Lab/Beagle (JUST A GUESS!). What we do know for sure is that Huck is absolutely adorable. Huck is a sweet and playful puppy who is curious about life and loves to explore. Huck is great with the resident dog in his foster home, but she isn't so sure about him - lol. Huck enjoys playing with doggie toys, running around the backyard and cuddling with his foster family. Like any young puppy, Huck is just beginning to learn about the world and will thrive with an adopter ready to guide him with patience, love, and positive training. Because he is still so young, his adopter must be home during the day to continue his training and socialization and help him grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion Huck is your boy:) Huck is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and he is microchipped. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
