This week we welcomed "Choco Taco" into our program. This poor little guy has been running up and down a four-lane road for 10 weeks! He is street smart... and somehow survived! He found refuge behind a local business and the business owner fed him, daily, but could never get close enough. We were asked to set a trap. Within an hour, he was in the trap! No chip. He is one of the most loving dogs on the planet! He LOVES people, dogs his size but he will chase cats! He has been laid out a few times by the resident cats in his foster home, yet, he still chases! He weighs 6.5#. While his previous family failed him, we promised him, that will never happen again! He is the sweetest Chihuahua on the planet... He is now fully vetted, which means he is now up to date on all vaccines, including rabies. He is heartworm negative and has started prevention. He had severe flea dermatitis, which had eaten on his little ears. We are working on getting those cleared up. He is now neutered and chipped. He is pretty much housetrained. He is crate trained. Our vet guesstimates that he is around a year old. He loves to run and play outside. He is not leash trained. Our preference is a fenced yard. CT is ready for his forever home!
