Hi, I’m Calliope — but you can call me Gigi if you’d like! I’m an approximately 2–4-year-old female Pomski weighing about 25 pounds, and I came from a high-kill shelter down south to get my second chance at a forever home. I’m an incredibly lovable, playful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I don’t meet a stranger — I absolutely love people and will happily greet you with excitement, ready for attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’ve been wonderful with kids (I’ve met grandkids ages 8 and 10!) and friendly with everyone I meet. I’m a fun, energetic girl who truly enjoys life. I love going for walks and do great on a leash once I settle in. I would thrive with a fully fenced yard where I can run, explore, and burn off some of my playful energy. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy being part of the action, and I’d do best in a home ready for a dog who still has a lot of puppy-like enthusiasm. I sleep nicely in bed with my person and just want to be close to you — I’m happiest when I’m loved on and included. I’m fully vetted — spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on flea/tick prevention. I’m being fostered in Shelby Township, Michigan, and am ready to find a family who will continue to help me blossom.
