About Rhea
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Rhea, a stunning two-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever partner in crime. Though she originally came from a difficult hoarding situation and is still learning the ropes of how to actually "be a dog," she has shown herself to be an incredibly soulful, playful, and loving companion. Rhea is a gentle soul who takes treats with the utmost care, and while she can be a bit guarded when meeting new faces, she is easily won over with some tasty reinforcements and a little bit of patience. She is exceptionally bright and has already been making great strides with her "sit" and "stay" commands; plus, she's a total pro with her house manners when kept on a consistent outdoor schedule. Because she is so smart, Rhea thrives when she has plenty of positive interaction and regular exercise to help keep her mind calm and her confidence high. She is looking for a patient, nurturing home that understands her journey and is willing to give her the time she needs to truly blossom. With the right person by her side to guide her, there is no doubt that Rhea will move past her shy beginnings to become the loyal, steady best friend she was always meant to be. Fun fact: Since Rhea was born on March 5, she is a Pisces! Pisces dogs are believed to be especially intuitive and sensitive, making them wonderful companions. Ready to fall in love?
