Story time 📖 🪄 Once upon a time there was a little girl named Cinderella. Her wicked step family moved out of their apartment and left her behind, all alone with no food for days. Finally neighbors heard her cries for help and rescued her from her urine and feces covered dungeon and called animal control to help her. And that’s how this sweet needy google-eyed girl found her way to us. We don’t know her real name, age, or past; what we do know is she’s complete sweetheart who loves everyone she meets and whines for attention to make sure she’s never left behind and forgotten again. She’s fine with other dogs, about 15lbs, and our vet’s best guess about 4-5 years old. Though she looks and acts like a puppy. We aren’t sure what breeds mixed together to create those awkward giant eyes, squishy face, and shortish legs but we are guessing maybe Boston, pug, or frenchie, and maybe even some peke or Shih Tzu? Luckily she’s a short haired dog, or she probably would’ve come to us covered in mats as well. But she’s in pretty good shape other than a lot of urine staining that will take some time and lots of baths to get to fade. She’s friendly with other small dogs and a happy little girl who is looking for her fairy tale ending- her very own castle 🏰 with a charming family. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
