Meet Neo! Neo is nearly blind—he can only see shadows in bright light—but he navigates beautifully using his other senses, especially his hearing. He’s learned to “map” his surroundings and zooms around without bumping into things. He’s very vocal and affectionate, a little “crooner” who sings back when you talk to him and coos when he’s happy or wants attention. He loves to play, especially with wand toys that have bells, which he can track by sound. He’s incredibly agile and not held back by his vision at all. Neo was found roaming the streets just before Christmas and brought to Saving Sage Animal Rescue. He likely got loose or may have been abandoned, but he’s proven to be a strong little survivor. He does have entropion and trichiasis (eyelid and fur irritation affecting his eyes), which may require corrective surgery. Despite this, he’s a happy, loving cat who would make a truly special companion. All kittens under 4 months old must be adopted in pairs unless the adopter already has another cat at home.
