About Rhea

Rhea is a 4-year-old German Shepherd whose life turned around after being found as a stray in Melbourne. She’s affectionate, playful, and has that signature shepherd spirit—including her own way of ā€œtalkingā€ when she’s excited. Rhea does well with calm, larger dogs but needs a home without cats or small animals, as her prey drive is strong. She’s been reactive on leash at times and will benefit from consistent training with someone intent on giving her structure and confidence. This girl is housetrained, crate trained for four to five hours, and thrives when her days have routine. Separation anxiety has improved, but she still prefers an adopter who’s often home. Rhea loves fetch and car rides, and a fenced yard is a must to keep her happy and exercised. At home, she’s loving and relaxed—never clingy, content to curl up on the couch or sleep quietly through the night. Shyness is brief when meeting new people; she warms up quickly. Rhea will do best in a calm, structured environment without small children, with adopters committed to her training. She hasn't shown aggression and remains a loyal, sweet companion eager for her next chapter. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
