About Pepper
Pepper is a lively 13-year-old with deep gray fur and a striking black stripe along her back, accented by distinctly outlined “eyeliner” eyes that catch the light—and attention—everywhere she goes. Though a senior, Pepper keeps the energy up with sudden bursts of play, batting at Q-tips or catnip mice and diving into her favorite catnip stash. Her affectionate side shows up in the loud, vibrant purrs that greet you, and she never hesitates to curl up either at the head of your bed or nestled beside her best buddy, Smokey. Smokey, her constant companion, brings a slower, gentler presence. Fifteen years old, Smokey has elegant long gray fur, highlighted with subtle undertones and those same eyeliner eyes, giving him a thoughtful look. He can be a bit reserved, but when trust is built, he’s all about those quiet snuggles and loves regular brushings to keep his coat in prime shape. Smokey’s health is maintained with a routine ear-administered medication (Methimazole) that is simple and affordable. Pepper and Smokey lean on each other, constantly curling up together, comforting one another and balancing Pepper’s playfulness with Smokey’s calm. They’re only available as a bonded pair, and anyone who brings them home will get double the heartwarming antics and easy companionship. They deserve a peaceful retirement together with people willing to cherish everything from a wild zoomie to a sleepy purr session. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
