About Kraken
Kraken is a 9-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who's grown up in the shelter since she was a tiny pup. While her siblings have found homes, Kraken is still hoping someone will give her a chance. At about 55 lbs, she's smart, food-motivated, and quick to pick up cues. Like a lot of shelter-raised dogs, she can get excitable and jumpy at first, mostly because she's hungry for attention, but she settles down and shows patience after a little gentle encouragement. Kraken walks nicely on leash, enjoys being around children and other dogs, and shares her kennel space without issues. She loves to chase a ball and will thrive best in an active home ready to keep her mind and body busy. If you’re looking for a bright, eager young dog who wants to be included in your day and isn’t shy about telling you she’s ready to play, Kraken could be your match. What are you waiting for?
