Brandi is a five-year-old with a big heart and an even bigger craving for close company. She’s all hugs and kisses, happiest when she can curl up next to you and just listen to you breathe. Brandi thrives around people and adores kids, always ready to show off her gentle side. She’s polite in the house, sits patiently at mealtime, is both housebroken and crate trained, and she minds her manners like a seasoned pro. While Brandi has her affectionate side, she isn’t a "friends with everyone" kind of dog. She can do fine with some dogs—especially those who are calm and not imposing—but she doesn’t do well with dogs who challenge her. In a foster home with four other dogs, she meshed well with those who respected her space and got along poorly with one who shared a similar strong-willed personality. She’ll do best as an only pet or with a laid-back, submissive dog. Brandi is okay with cats, enjoys fenced yards, and craves the security of a stable home where her loyalty and boundaries are respected. Brandi has grown up in rescue and really deserves a loving, forever home that appreciates her attachment and is happy to give her what she needs to feel safe.
