About Sammy

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.** Sammy is a truly special boy with a handsome face and the most endearing slightly cross-eyed gaze that will melt your heart the moment you meet him. This gentle soul came from a home with far too many cats for one person to care for, but thankfully he was rescued and brought into a loving foster home where he’s been safe, cared for, and able to relax. At around 2½ years old, Sammy is a calm and thoughtful guy who prefers the simple things in life. Toys are still a bit of a mystery to him—he may not have had the chance to enjoy them before—but he’s perfectly content finding a cozy spot to sit and quietly take in the world around him. A sunny window seat is one of his favorite places, where he can watch birds, leaves, and life go by. What Sammy truly loves is affection. He’s incredibly sweet and adores gentle pets and scritches, and if you’re hoping for a lap cat, look no further—Sammy is happiest curled up close to his person, soaking up all the love he can get. He would do best in a quieter home where he can feel safe and settled. Older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle and give him space would be just fine. Sammy gets along well with other cats and would be happy to share his home with a feline friend or two. He may also do well with a calm, cat-friendly dog. Sammy is the kind of cat who will quietly steal your heart and become your constant, comforting companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle lap cat to share your home and your heart, Sammy is waiting to meet you! Sammy's adoption fee is $100. Sammy is around 2 1/2 years old. He has been neutered and vaccinated. He is litter box trained. We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated. When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know? All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home. For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
