A WONDERFUL PUPPY FRIEND: Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 35 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Monty! I’m a darling pup who somehow found myself at animal control, and I’m so grateful to be in the Mostly Mutts family now. I’m loving my time with the wonderful volunteers and can’t wait to meet the family who will call me their very own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or nibble on as I’m in the mouthy stage of puppyhood. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as ALL puppy – playful, fun, a bit mouthy and busy! I’m very sweet, friendly, and active, always on the go and ready to play. I was wonderful for my bath, staying calm and gentle the whole time, offering a few soft, sweet whines along the way. Like a typical puppy, I may nibble at ankles now and then, but it’s all part of my playful, learning personality. / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the ‘come’ command. Let’s continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’m doing pretty well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in it. / My potty manners have been good at Mostly Mutts with very few accidents. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time in the play yard where I can stretch my legs and have fun with the volunteers, I also enjoy tasty dental treats and being around people is one of my favorite things. Toss in some toys, and I’m a happy pup! / Most dogs like Pup-Peroni treats, but I don’t seem to be a fan. I can’t think of any other dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered.
