About Angus
Your new best friend is just one click away. Angus is a charming male Domestic Long Hair mix with striking black fur and a relaxed attitude. Born on April 15, 2022, he's looking for an indoor-only home that offers a calm, comforting environment. Angus would thrive in a household with a laid-back to moderately active lifestyle and is best matched to families without young children under the age of six. He enjoys the company of other compatible cats and can adapt to a home with well-behaved, cat-friendly dogs once he's had time to settle in and adjust. Potential adopters will need to complete a home visit and arrange a meet-and-greet with any resident pets prior to adoption, ensuring a smooth transition for Angus into his new family. He is currently available to meet at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store by appointment with an approved application. Angus comes fully vetted: he's neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and even microchipped for lifelong identification. Fun fact: with a birthday in mid-April, Angus is an Aries—a sign known for being adventurous and independent, traits that might shine through in his playful, curious nature. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
