About Earl

Earl is an oversized softie who loves nothing more than being close to his people, ideally curled up in their lap. At six years old, he cuts an impressive figure–a classic, blue-and-white Pit Bull Terrier tipping the scales at roughly 100 lbs. Earl knows he's a big guy, so he's careful around children and prefers a home with older kids (8+), just to be safe. He’s housebroken, settling easily in his crate, and is motivated to keep learning all the basics—especially if treats are involved. Earl is the type who makes fast friends with other dogs, happily bouncing and playing. Chew toys, especially antlers, are his new obsession. He finds a lot of joy in simple routines and is most comfortable with adopters who have some dog experience. He would love a securely fenced yard to stretch out and roam but isn’t a fit for electric fences. Earl comes already neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, crate- and house-trained, and up to date on vaccinations. For anyone drawn to a big, affectionate goofball, Earl brings plenty of hugs and good energy to the table. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
