About Kentucky
Meet Kentucky, a striking 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix with a short coat and a personality that’s hard to miss. He’s energetic, social, and happiest with people who want a dog right in the middle of the action. Kentucky thrives with an active family—if you’re up for hikes, walks, or just a good backyard romp, he’s already got his leash ready. After play, he settles nicely and just wants to stretch out nearby, content to soak up your company. He’s great with other dogs of all sizes and has gotten along well with cats, so he fits right in with multi-pet households. Kentucky’s confidence and playful side shine during interactions with dogs, cats, and people. His play style runs on the enthusiastic side, though, so he’ll do best in a home with older children (10+) who can enjoy his rambunctious spirit. Kentucky is affectionate, loyal, and ready to be included in outdoor adventures and quiet evenings alike. He’s up to date on vaccinations, house trained, and neutered. Kentucky currently lives in Austin, TX, and is available for adoption both locally and via transport to select states. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
