Meet Jinx! Jinx is a 2–3 year old Chihuahua mix (maybe with a little dachshund or corgi!) with adorable short legs, a long body, and those big, expressive ears you can’t help but fall in love with. This sweet girl has a gentle soul. She can be shy and reserved at first, but once she feels safe, Jinx blossoms into the most loyal little companion. Her favorite place is right by your side—following you around the house, snuggling up close, and soaking in all the love she’s been waiting for. Jinx would do best in a calm, quiet home with a patient family who understands that she needs a little time to adjust. Because of her sensitive nature, a home without young children and not a lot of constant activity would be ideal. She enjoys squeaky toys, gets along well with other dogs, and would do great with a calm, easygoing canine friend—or as your one-and-only. While she hasn’t fully shown her playful side yet, we know it’s just waiting to shine as her confidence grows. Jinx is currently in a foster home in New Hampshire, where she’s working hard on building confidence and learning routines. She’s doing well with going potty outside and will go into a crate if needed (even if it’s not her favorite spot). At night, she’d much rather be cuddled up with her humans.
