Meet Snowflake! Snowflake is a beautiful 5–6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing about 75 pounds, and she truly lives up to her name—gentle, calm, and quietly special. This amazing girl came to us as a devoted mama, raising her litter of puppies with love and patience. Now that all her babies have found their homes, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and cherished. Snowflake has a naturally nurturing and protective spirit, true to her Pyrenees roots. She currently helps “watch over” horses, donkeys, and cows at her foster home—and does so beautifully. She doesn’t chase or cause stress, just calmly keeps an eye on things like a true guardian. She would thrive in a farm setting or a home where she has space and a purpose, but she’s just as happy protecting her home and family. Despite her working instincts, Snowflake is incredibly laid back. She gets along well with other dogs, isn’t bossy, and while she’ll occasionally join in playtime, she’s mostly a “mind my business” kind of girl. She’s also great with cats! Inside the home, she’s an absolute dream. Snowflake is fully house trained, never chews, doesn’t beg, and simply comes in, finds her cozy spot, and relaxes. She truly enjoys being indoors and settles in effortlessly. She also rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash, though she prefers having space to roam. Her one quirk? Snowflake can climb a fence if it’s too short—so she’ll need either a secure fence (5+ ft or vinyl), or a home where she can be safely supervised outdoors.
