Lucy’s story is a hard one to tell… but she deserves to be seen. 💔 Lucy came to us from an Amish barn, where she was used over and over again for breeding. She arrived with her six babies, being the good mama she is—giving everything she had to them. One by one, her puppies found homes… and now Lucy is the one left behind. If you look closely at her face, you’ll see it… the end of her nose has been ripped off. We don’t know exactly what she’s been through, but it’s clear this sweet girl has suffered more than any dog ever should. And yet… she is still gentle. Still loving. Still trusting. Lucy is around 3–4 years old, and for the first time in her life, she’s finally free. She’s now spayed—no more babies, no more being used. It’s her turn. Her turn to have a soft, cozy bed.
