About Dolly
Meet Dolly, a 4-year-old American Bully with a golden coat and a personality as bright as her fur. She spent several months fending for herself, which made her fiercely independent and a bit protective of her things around other dogs. At about 30 pounds and with a short coat, she’s small enough to fit right into your life but has plenty of presence. Dolly loves a good leap through leaves or chasing squirrels, but at heart, she wants to curl up next to her favorite person—she’s clingy in the sweetest way. If you’re retired, work from home, or enjoy having a four-legged companion in the car, she’ll be thrilled to join you; she’s famous for falling asleep in the passenger seat. Dolly is crate trained but would rather be on the couch beside you. She gets along with dogs but will need slow introductions and does best with patient owners who know her quirks. She hasn't met young children yet and can be reserved with new faces, but give her time and patience and you’ll see her gentle, affectionate side. Dolly is currently in Cameron, NC, waiting for a home where she will be cherished and truly belong. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
