Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! -------- Meet XENA! Xena is a friendly and playful girl who is ready for fun! She loves to run and play chase in the yard with other dogs. She's pictured here with her buddy, Athena. Once Xena has run off some energy, she's ready to relax and chill out. Xena would love a home with another playful dog who wants a buddy. Xena, Athena and a third dog, Hermes, were found crammed into a crate in a back yard. We don't know how long they'd been living like that. Yet, all three are such happy and resilient dogs. Xena is a year old. She will be a fun companion for an active family and playful dog who's looking for a partner! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
