Tank has lived with two other dogs, but his constant desire to play has become difficult to manage, as he struggles to respect their signals to disengage, which can lead to escalation. He shows food aggression; he may stare, growl, and guard his food, and has recently been involved in a bite incident. Tank tends to be anxious when kenneled and may cry when left alone, though he can eventually settle, and he forms strong bonds with his primary caregiver. He is highly food-motivated, has a foundation in training, and responds well to basic commands such as sit, wait, place, and go when breakfast is ready.
