About Maine Coon
Maine Coon is a handsome male Labrador Retriever/Husky mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on February 15, 2026 along with his seven siblings (Abyssinian, Birman, Bombay, Devon Rex, Munchkin, Ragdoll, and Sphynx). These beautiful puppies were found fending for themselves on River Lane near Marietta Ohio. Fortunately a Good Samaritan found these youngsters and brought them to the safety of our shelter. The puppies were estimated to have been 10-weeks old at that time. Maine Coon has a sleek black short smooth coat with white markings on his chest, white toes/paws, a long tail, and an adorable puppy face with hopeful, innocent eyes, a dusting of white on his chin, a slender muzzle, and semi-erect ears. This little lovebug has a lovable, playful puppy personality. Maine Coon and his brothers/sisters are sharing their very own room in a quiet area of our shelter, and they are always romping/playing to their heart's content. Maine Coon is one of the larger puppies and will likely be a fairly big boy when he reaches maturity. These photos of Maine Coon were taken on March 31, 2026. Thanks to HSOV Kennel Techs Liz Stingley and Lauryn Hamilton for assisting each of the puppies with their 'big boy/big girl' pictures that day (and for providing carry-out service to/from their room). HSOV is currently accepting applications for these adorable youngsters. They are available for foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application .. And they will be spayed/neutered before they are officially adopted by their foster family.
