She came to us from a hoarding case of 200 dogs. Quite shy and scared at first we have been working with her to socialize her around people and to feel comfortable enough to trust. She has come a long way and deserves a loving home. She has that classic retriever charm—loyal, gentle, and always happy to be near her people. Whether it’s a walk outside or a quiet evening at home, Lisa is just happy to be included. She has a nicely balanced energy level, enjoying time to stretch her legs and explore, but also settling in easily for relaxed companionship. Lisa’s easygoing nature makes her a great fit for many different homes, especially for those looking for a steady, affectionate presence. She does well when she has a fellow dog companion to keep her company also. Lisa would thrive with a family who can give her consistent love, moderate exercise, and a cozy place to call her own.
