Despite being surrendered by their owners in Tennessee, the BRIDGERTON family has risen above their humble beginnings to become a worthy house known for grace, elegance and civility. Last season's courtship between Mr. Colin Bridgerton and Mrs. Penelope Bridgerton (née Featherington) has proven to be the most perfect match. Perhaps the most passionate type of love is one that burns among friends, especially among the Bridgertons. It is no secret that Mr. Colin is a charming gentleman with a love for both adventure and good company as evidenced by his prior escapades in Europe before returning to the Ton. Ever curious and eager to explore, Mr. Colin approaches life with a cheerful enthusiasm that this author can only describe as infectious. (Though certainly not as infectious as the Plague.) With a sharp mind, he learns quickly and truly delights staying busy. However, this author has heard Mr. Colin is equally fond of a quiet carriage moment shared with his loved ones. Or...lovers?
