About Eloise Bridgerton
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Eloise Bridgerton's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Dearest gentle reader: It is this author's greatest pleasure to introduce the newest debutante for the first ball of the season: Miss Eloise Bridgerton, a 9-week-old Border Collie mix, weighing 12 pounds (as of 4/3/26). Despite being surrendered by their owners in Tennessee, the BRIDGERTON family has risen above their humble beginnings to become a worthy house known for grace, elegance and civility. Miss Eloise is a young lady of keen intellect and independent spirit. Rarely content to simply follow the hustle and bustle of the Ton, she prefers to investigate the world on her own terms, whether it be a rustling leaf carried by the wind or an intriguing new plaything. Quick to learn and eager to engage, she possesses both wit and charm in equal measure which this author believes will make her stand out among the other debutants. Furthermore, Miss Eloise would thrive in a home that appreciates her ever curious mind and rewards her cleverness with love (and perhaps a few sweets?). As one says, the mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled and Miss Eloise's fire will most certainly burn the brightest of all. With such high praise, the Bridgertons would be the most excellent companions to dogs and children. Although they have not yet graced the presence of felines, perhaps an introduction is in order? Or even more preferable, a match. Due to their youthful age and sensibilities, the Bridgertons will require assistance in the ways of the Ton: using the chamber pots (potty training) and leisurely strolls with leading cords (leashing). The family will also require assistance with chests (crates), though one must note that they have used chests while traveling to neighboring lands. Progress indeed. With their charm and benevolent nature, this author firmly believes any New England estate would be fortunate enough to adopt a member of the lovely Bridgertons for the rest of their years. Yours Truly, Lady Whistledown All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
