About Collin
Collin arrived at the shelter barely more than skin and bones, every rib standing out, but even then he greeted people with gentle eyes and a hopeful wag. He never gave in to fear or anger. Instead, he kept believing someone would love him. After receiving good food, safety, and some much-needed care, Collin has bounced back. Now at a healthy 42 pounds, his brown coat shines, his energy levels have returned, and his personality stands out. Collin is an affectionate, happy dog who attaches deeply to his people—expect to find him close by, always ready to be your shadow. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and genders, and he's completely comfortable with cats. Kids over 10 suit him best, and he's picking up house manners quickly. Collin is leash trained, crate trained, and housebroken. Even after everything he’s been through, he’s kept his loving, steady nature. He’s ready for a home where he can relax on a soft couch and never worry about his next meal again. Transport is available beyond Waynesville, NC, for an additional fee.
