Meet Lucky 🐾 Lucky is a gentle soul who is just looking for a calm, understanding home to call his own. He is about two years old and was one of the first cats rescued from the condemned Bradley Inn in Windsor Locks, where he had been left behind. Despite everything he’s been through, Lucky has remained a kind, sensitive boy who is slowly learning what it means to feel safe again. We had Lucky completely vetted. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and he snap tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Lucky is a quieter cat who can get a little nervous if another cat lashes out at him. Instead of reacting, he simply runs to his safe place. He is not a cat that goes after other cats. He would do fine with another mild-tempered, respectful cat who won’t intimidate him. Once Lucky gets used to you, he likes to be around you. He’s not a cat that wants to be held, and he prefers affection on his own terms. He’ll come sit in your lap when he wants to, and he absolutely loves to be petted. He is happiest in a calm environment, and you’ll often find him relaxing in his cat tree, just enjoying the peace and watching the world around him. Lucky would do best with someone who understands cats and will appreciate him for who he is. He doesn’t need perfection — he just needs patience, kindness, and a home where he can continue to feel safe and loved.
