Meet Bethany! This 4 year old house hippo could not be a sweeter girl! Bethany loves EVERYONE she meets! Whether its a human, four-legged animal friend, it doesn't matter, she wants to be their bestie--she loves meeting new friends when we're out on walks, and is equally excited when friends come over to her foster home. When she isn't excitedly wiggling and wagging her tail meeting new friends, Bethany loves relaxing, cuddling, and being the most low-maintenance girl in all the land. She gets along great with her small-dog foster brother, and is fantastic at sharing toys, snacks, and attention with him. Bethany is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on the leash using a front-clip harness. She likes to take 3 walks a day (between 15-20 min each), but can do with 2 in a pinch! Bethany loves to sleep in with you, and does great when left alone! She can be left in her crate with a high value treat, but is non-destructive outside the crate as well. Bethany also LOVES car rides and adventures, after some intiial wiggling an excitement, lays down or sticks her head out the window to take in the sights and smells! Bethany gets a little excited when meeting new friends, and ocassionally jumps, but is very treat motivated, a great listener, and after a week in foster care, already making huge strides with this! Other than that, Bethany is a gentle dreamboat who would make the perfect addition to any home, especially one with other animal friends, but she truly blooms wherever she is planted!
