About Aruban Romo Or Mr.

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Mr. Romo is the definition of loyalty, earning his nickname "Mr. Loyal" for good reason. After losing his original home in Aruba, he showed his resilient and trusting spirit by hopping right in the car when found at a bus stop, despite suffering from a severe ear hematoma. After receiving surgery and making a full recovery, Romo traveled to the US to find his forever family, as his temporary caregivers were unable to keep him. Romo is a calm, quiet, and exceptionally well-mannered large dog who charms everyone he meets. He is incredibly friendly with both people and dogs and absolutely adores car rides. He is house trained, doesn’t get into trouble in the home, and prefers being out and about rather than confined in a crate. Resembling a Great Dane, possibly with a touch of Labrador, Romo is impressively big but without the typical drooling of Danes. He’s social with other dogs but would also thrive as the special companion to his person. Romo’s ideal adopter will live within 40 miles of Elgin, and he comes with a week's free boarding at Doggy Has It to help ease the transition into his new home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
