Weighing about 20 pounds right now, she is expected to grow into a medium-to-large dog with the perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and German Shepherd smarts. Cotton Candy came to the rescue as part of an accidental litter that was lovingly raised in a home with children, so she entered the world already familiar with the sights and sounds of a busy household. She is a sweet, good-natured puppy with a gentle spirit and an endearing curiosity about everything around her. Personality and Temperament Cotton Candy is the kind of puppy who makes people smile without even trying. She is naturally friendly and affectionate, with a soft, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to have around. She is playful and loves a good wrestle session, happily tumbling around with toys or engaging in gentle roughhousing when the mood strikes. At the same time, she has a calm, loving side and enjoys settling in for cuddles after playtime. Her curious nature means she is always interested in exploring her surroundings, learning new things, and figuring out how the world works. So far, Cotton Candy has been a relatively quiet puppy. She has not been much of a barker, though she will occasionally whine to let you know she needs something—which is perfectly normal for a young puppy still adjusting to a new environment. Daily Routine and Training Cotton Candy thrives on a predictable routine. She currently eats three meals a day at 7:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m., and she is doing well learning the rhythm of daily life. She is in the process of crate training and is making steady progress as she builds confidence and comfort in her crate. Like any puppy her age, she is also working on potty training and learning where and when to do her business. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she is expected to continue improving quickly. She is currently the only dog in her foster home, but she has experience being around other dogs and loves them. The Perfect Home for Cotton Candy Cotton Candy would do well in a variety of homes that are ready for the fun and commitment of raising a young puppy. She will benefit from a family that can continue her training, provide regular playtime and exercise, and include her in daily activities. With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and loving personality, she has all the ingredients to grow into a loyal and devoted companion. If you are looking for a sweet, curious puppy who will keep you laughing, learning, and cuddling every day, Cotton Candy might just be the perfect addition to your family.
