Meet Senorita! Senorita is a 2 year old pittie who is looking to begin her next adventure and she sure hopes that is with you! Senorita is an active girl who loves to go on walks, run around outside, play with all sorts of toys, and she loves a good cuddle with her humans. We do not have too much history on Senorita so we do not know how she does with young kids or cats. When it comes to little humans we do think she would like them, she may just be a bit of a bowling ball when she gets excited! Senorita does have experience with other dogs, she just tends to get a little too excited and playful when she is meeting them so we would definitely want to do a meet here at Dakin just to make sure they are really going to be the right fit for each other. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours. **Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events. -------------------------------------------- All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations - heartworm test -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us.
