Meet Obadiah--affectionately known as Obie-Bear 🐻--a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to shine. Obie-Bear came from a litter where, unfortunately, not every pup was able to find a home right away. Thankfully, a kind and dedicated caretaker stepped in and gave him the love, safety, and attention he deserved. Because of that, Obie has grown into an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog who truly adores people--seriously, ALLLLLL people. If you've got love to give, he's already your biggest fan. That said, Obie-Bear is a sensitive guy. New situations can make him a little nervous, and when he's unsure--like around doorways or on a leash--he tends to freeze up. He's not being stubborn--he's just looking for reassurance. What he needs is a patient, understanding person who can show him the world isn't so scary and help him build confidence at his own pace. The beautiful thing? Once he feels safe, his personality starts to blossom into that happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging companion he's meant to be. Another confident dog in the home would do wonders for him--he takes comfort in having a buddy to show him the ropes and help him feel secure. Obie-Bear is the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his person. He's soft, loving, and full of quiet potential. With a little patience and a lot of love, he's going to become someone's absolute best friend. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
