About Uncle
Uncle is the kind of cat who makes everyone feel welcome. He’s a brown and white tabby, about a year old, and easy to spot with a slim white streak right down his nose. Uncle takes his relaxation seriously—he’ll curl up tight for a nap or burrow against your neck, purring so loud you’ll think he’s competing with a motor. He genuinely loves being picked up, carried around, and petted, especially under his chin and behind his ears. Around the shelter, folks lovingly call him a ‘chonk’, the highest compliment for a cat who knows good living and isn’t shy about it. Uncle is FIV+, so he’ll need to stay indoors for his health, but otherwise he’s ready for a normal, happy life. If you’re looking for a bighearted, sociable cat, Uncle would like to meet you.
