About Vela
Vela is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky, about 45 pounds of fluff, energy, and unpredictability. She’s the sort of dog who’s convinced your personal space is hers and that kisses are part of every day. You’ll never sit quietly for long—she’s all in for affection and constant company. A home with real room to roam suits Vela best. She’s wild for a yard, daily play, and anyone ready for her big, silly zoomies. If you already have a dog or a cat who knows how to handle a lively housemate, she’ll probably fit right in. Vela’s happiest in an active home with older kids who play hard and also know when to let her chill out. She sometimes hesitates around men, but patience and gentle attention work wonders. Vela is new to most commands and still learning leash manners, so anyone interested should be ready for some fun, positive training sessions. She is crate trained and settles in well when left alone during work hours. If shedding is a dealbreaker, Vela isn’t your match—she leaves her fur everywhere but makes up for it with relentless affection and plenty of laughs. If you think life is better with a Husky underfoot (and sometimes on top of you), Vela can’t wait to meet you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
