Hi, I’m Hattie! I’m a 1-year-old Hound mix weighing about 36 pounds, and I made my way into rescue from a high-kill shelter in Alabama for a second chance at a forever home. I’m a happy, friendly girl who just loves everyone I meet—people and dogs alike! I do fantastic with other dogs and absolutely love to romp and play. Big or small, it doesn’t matter to me—I just want to be everyone’s best friend! I’ve also been great with kids and all the people I’ve met so far. When I first get out, I’m ready to run around and have some fun, but once I’ve burned off a little energy, I’m more than happy to settle down and soak up all the pets and love. I really am the sweetest girl with such a fun, balanced personality. I’d do well in a variety of homes, especially one that will let me play, explore, and then curl up for some affection. I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet, but that can be tested if needed. I come fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
