About Freckles
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Freckles may be small at just 16 pounds, but he has an outsized personality and zest for life. Equal parts energetic playmate and affectionate lap dog, he adores people and never tires of seeking your attention—whether that's hopping up for belly rubs or dashing around the yard at top speed. At approximately 18 months old, Freckles is fully grown, likely a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Chihuahua, and Beagle. He needs plenty of action, whether that's vigorous walks, playtime in the yard, daily runs, or agility training to keep his sharp mind and lively spirit engaged. Freckles can be a bit bossy with other dogs and may do best as the only dog in your home, though he might get along with another well-balanced pup if introduced with strong, positive leadership. If you're interested in making Freckles part of your family, a private meet can be arranged for approved adopters. Meet Freckles in person at weekly adoption events, and enjoy the flexibility of a one-week trial period to ensure the right match for both him and your family. Please note, Freckles will only be placed in homes where current pets are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Veterinary references are required. All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Your new best friend is just one click away.
