Winston is a 6-year-old, 35-pound Puggle. Like most Puggles, he really wants to be with his people. He is a very friendly guy and likes to walk (which is good since he really needs to lose a few pounds to be his best self!). He can be reactive to dogs on leash, but with training should be able to focus on his human instead. He did fine in his dog introduction here at the shelter. He was a little nervous, but otherwise neutral and appropriate. If you are looking for a best bud, Winston is ready to be your ride-or-die! We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
