About Zoey

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Zack and Zoey are two adorable American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mixes, and Zoey currently weighs 30 lbs. At nearly 4 months old, with a birthday of December 11, 2025, she’s still full of puppy charm and boundless energy. As she and her littermate previously lived outdoors before their rescue, Zoey is making excellent progress with crate and potty training as she learns about life indoors. Because of her breed mix and size, Zoey won’t be placed in apartments and will not be adopted alongside her sibling—each deserves their own loving home. Zoey needs a home without children under 10 since she’s still learning her manners and doesn’t realize her strength yet. She gets along with both cats and other dogs, which makes her a wonderful candidate for a pet-filled home, as long as everyone is ready for energetic puppy play. Zoey’s adopters must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex, and trial adoptions plus a home check are part of the process. Fun fact: As a Sagittarius born in mid-December, Zoey is likely to bring an adventurous and joyful spirit to your home! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
