Eight pounds of courage packed into a tiny body—that’s me, Mirabel. Small but mighty, I face the world with big feelings, big jumps, and even bigger love once you earn it. At 3 years and 8 months old, I’m a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix with long legs that help me leap straight into your lap when I need comfort. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a moment… and I’ll become your loyal shadow, following you everywhere like it’s my full-time job. I’m smart, too—I already know “stay” and “come,” and I’m working hard on my house manners. My crate is my calm, cozy space, and I settle in there like a pro. I get along well with small dogs and older kids who understand that sometimes I need a little patience while I build trust. I do have a protective side—when I hear a noise, I’ll sound the alarm with my bark. But right after, you’ll find me curled up in your arms, ready to be reassured and loved. Because I’m still figuring out the whole leash thing, I’ll need a safely fenced yard where I can stretch these long legs and bounce around freely. I can have bursts of energy, but what I truly crave is a calm home where I can be the center of someone’s world. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
