About Mini
Mini is a 3-month-old female Husky/Shepherd mix, currently in Miami, FL, with a personality that’s equal parts confident and feisty. She’s a typical Shepsky pup: smart, active, and very independent-minded—already showing she’ll need an adopter who’s ready for the challenge of a working-breed dog. Mini will grow into a medium to large adult with a medium-length golden and apricot/beige coat. She’ll need structure, patience, and a strong commitment to training and exercise; this isn’t a first-time dog and not a breed to take lightly. A secure fenced yard is non-negotiable. She plays well with other dogs and gets along with children, but does not get along with cats. Mini is not yet house trained, and she is not spayed yet, but has her first vaccines and microchip. Only homes with prior Husky or Shepherd experience will be considered, and all pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines. Adoptive families must be local to South Florida and available to complete vet requirements. If you meet all the criteria and want to help shape Mini into a balanced adult dog, she’s ready for your application. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

Questions about Mini
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Mini’s Husky/Shepherd mix breed thrives best in active homes with plenty of space to roam and people who understand working breeds. She'd do well in a house with a secure yard and an environment where she can get lots of attention, training, and exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Shepsky like Mini needs a good-sized, securely fenced yard to burn off energy daily. Apartment living is challenging for this mix unless her owner is committed to long, vigorous outings multiple times a day.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Husky/Shepherd mixes like Mini generally do well with children, especially if socialized early, and Mini is noted to get along with kids. However, their energy means supervision is important.
